During the Junior year we would accomplish the following activities:
- review high school transcript, PSAT/SAT/ACT scores to assess academic strengths and weaknesses
- plan standardized testing calendar to include SAT/ACT and SAT Subject Tests and referrals for tutors
- review extracurricular activitites and discuss "big project" options
- provide recommendations on senior year course selection
- assess college interests and college experience priorities
- identify and refine solid list of college choices before senior year
- campus visit preparation
- review enrichment opportunities for summer before senior year
- monitor timelines for testing and college applications
- review components of Common Application
- provide assistance in preparation of a comprehensive "Brag Sheet”
- provide strategic assistance with requesting Letters of Recommendation
- brainstorm essay topics
- provide editorial assistance for essays for college applications
- provide assistance in preparation for college interviews
- review entire presentation of application – “hitting all the bases”
- provide targeted merit-based and need-based scholarship information
Junior/Senior Package: 10 – 25 hours - $1,500 – $3,500
