During the Junior year we would accomplish the following activities:

• review high school transcript, PSAT/SAT/ACT scores to assess academic strengths and weaknesses
• plan standardized testing calendar to include SAT/ACT and SAT Subject Tests and referrals for tutors
• review extracurricular activitites and discuss “big project” options
• provide recommendations on senior year course selection
• assess college interests and college experience priorities
• identify and refine solid list of college choices before senior year
• campus visit preparation
• review enrichment opportunities for summer before senior year
• monitor timelines for testing and college applications
• review components of Common Application
• provide assistance in preparation of a comprehensive “Brag Sheet”
• provide strategic assistance with requesting Letters of Recommendation
• brainstorm essay topics
• provide editorial assistance for essays for college applications
• provide assistance in preparation for college interviews
• review entire presentation of application – “hitting all the bases”
• provide targeted merit-based and need-based scholarship information
